Experience some of the rarest Matchas from Japan. Or, compare and contrast Single-Origin Matcha from different producers, cultivars, terroirs, vintages, and more.
Each month is thoughtfully curated to deepen your Matcha knowledge. Some months, you’ll receive 2–3 matcha selections for side-by-side tasting. Other months, we’ll go deep on a single exceptional matcha.
Membership tiers are based on the value of matcha you receive, not the number of grams. Depending on the selection, that may mean 4 grams one month or 20 grams the next.

Understanding Your Membership

The amount varies depending on the rarity and value of the matcha. Some months may include as little as 4 grams of a rare lot, while other months may include up to 20 grams. The value always matches your membership tier.

If you have leftovers, don’t worry. Fresh ground Matcha can last for months. Or if you prefer less frequency, you can join the Once-Every-3-Months Matcha Mill Club.

Yes. You can pause, skip, or cancel your membership at any time directly from your account. There is no minimum commitment.

Membership tiers are based on the value of matcha you receive each month. Higher tiers receive a larger allocation of the same matcha selection.

Your first month includes an Ooika Matcha storage jar to help preserve freshness. We recommend reusing it for each month’s Matcha.
Long-term Storage: Store unopened Ooika Matcha in the refrigerator. Consume within 6 months.
Room-Temp Short-term Storage: Store opened Ooika Matcha in a cool, dark place away from sunlight. Consume within 3 months.
Refrigerator Short-term Storage: Opened Matcha can be stored in the refrigerator to help maintain freshness, however, the Matcha is at risk of condensation when cooler than ambient air. For this reason, if you choose to store an opened Matcha in the refrigerator, be sure to take the Matcha you need and then immediately place it back in the refrigerator to minimize exposure to the warm air.

We recommend traditional preparation, such as usucha or koicha, to experience the full, delicate character of each single-origin matcha.

MMC Orders ship at the beginning of each month. Your first shipment will be sent during the next scheduled shipment window after you join.
Orders must be received by 11:59 pm EST on the last day of each month for shipping. For example, if you order on February 1st, you will receive your first box at the beginning of March.
