Returns & Exchanges

We only accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase for store credit on the following items:

  • Non-food items such as teaware and ceramics that are unopened and in original packaging

  • Items not marked as on sale.

Returns cannot be accepted for any perishable goods such as Matcha, tea, and any food items. We offer product exchanges for any items deemed defective* by Ooika. These items must be returned in their original, unopened, vacuum-sealed packaging.

*Defective state includes a broken seal on air-tight Matcha, and items unsafe for consumption due to contamination or packaging damage.

How to Make a Return/Exchange

We do our best to ensure high quality in our products. If your product is defective (as defined above) upon arrival, please contact us at hello@ooika.co with details about the problem and your order number. After proof of purchase and approval, we’ll email you a return label to be used for shipping your products back to us.

Once the return arrives at Ooika, we’ll inspect the item(s) and then process your refund store credit, or exchange.

International Returns

We do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders.

Failed Deliveries

In the event that USPS or other couriers are unable to deliver the package due to an incorrect address entered during checkout, your refusal to pay duties, failed attempts to reach you at the point of delivery, or otherwise, we are not responsible for the payment of the shipping costs and customs duties, fee and all other associated costs.

We are not responsible for the payment of re-shipping products to you. In such cases, you’re responsible for all shipping costs associated with the returned packages due to failed delivery which is non-refundable. We will deduct all shipping costs and duties associated with a failed delivery. We will refund the balance when we receive the product back to us.

Lost Items

Ooika is not liable for any loss of goods by USPS or other carriers during the process of delivery to you and your shipping address. In some cases, we may issue a refund at our own discretion. In these cases, the refund will be applied as a store credit, within a reasonable amount of time. In all other cases, refund requests will be issued on a case-by-case basis.
